Nurture in Play Therapy

At Nurture in Play, I am committed to supporting children flourish. Through the use of sensory toys, art and crafts materials, small plastic animals and figures, puppets, sand, children are able to explore their feelings in a safe and relaxed environment without the need for words. Building a trusting, therapeutic relationship is crucial to the play therapy process.

I predominately travel into children's schools around Southend and surrounding areas where sessions will take place, or within a therapy centre in Southend. Sessions are held on the same day and time weekly for 50 minutes.

A meeting takes place between myself and parent(s)/carer(s) initially to assess your main concerns and discuss the best options moving forward. Should you wish to start play therapy, I usually work with your child for 10-12 sessions, then will have a parental review meeting to discuss how therapy is progressing and think about how best to continue supporting your child.

Fees:

50 minute Play Therapy session = £40

Initial meeting = £30

Parental review meeting = £30

Report writing (Should this be requested) = £30
